pharmachologic effect
The preparation is of plant origin. Contains bitterness (absintine), essential oils (thujone, thujol, fellandren), tannins.
It has choleretic effect and stimulates the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Increases appetite.
Indications
To increase appetite and improve the function of the digestive system:
- hypo- and anacid gastritis;
- chronic cholecystitis;
- biliary dyskinesia.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity;
- increased gastric secretion;
- Hyperacid gastritis;
- Stomach ulcer and duodenal ulcer;
- reflux esophagitis;
- Acute cholecystitis;
Lactation period.
Dosage
Inside, 3 times / day, 15-20 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is 20-25 days.
Side effects
Allergic reactions; heartburn, gastralgia, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting (with prolonged use).
Overdose
Symptoms: tremor, headache, dizziness, convulsions.
Pregnancy and lactemia
Contraindicated during lactation.
