The preparation contains active components: naphazoline nitrate and antazoline mesylate.
Additional components: boric acid, methylparahydroxy-benzoate, disodium edetate and water.

Form of issue

Sanorin-Analergin is produced in the form of nasal drops, packaged in dark bottles of 10 ml with a rubber pipette.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

As is known, the active component of the drug - naphazoline - is alpha2-adrenomimetic, which can have a rapid, pronounced and long-lasting effect aimed at narrowing the vessels of the nasal mucosa. This reduces swelling, exudation and hyperemia, facilitates nasal breathing during rhinitis. Within 5-7 days development of tolerance can occur.
Another active substance drops - antazolin - refers to selective blockers of H1-histamine receptors, which have anti-allergic, anti-edema and anti-exsudative effect.
The use of the drug leads to a decrease in edema of the nasal mucosa and narrowing of the vessels, which manifests itself after 10 minutes and remains on average 4-5 hours. After the application of drops, they are absorbed into the systemic circulation directly through the nasal mucosa.

Indications for use

Drops are assigned when:
    acute rhinitis, including allergic;
    rhinoray.

Contraindications

It is not recommended to use the drug when:
    hypersensitivity to its components;
    arterial hypertension;
    severe atherosclerosis;
    hyperthyroidism;
    age under 16 years;
    chronic atrophic rhinitis;
    diabetes mellitus;
    tachycardia;
    simultaneous treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, as well as 14 days before or after their use.

Care should be taken when:

    pheochromocytoma;
    the use of drugs that increase blood pressure;
    use of inhalation anesthesia;
    bronchial asthma;
    hyperplasia of the prostate;
    lactation, pregnancy;
    ischemic heart disease.

Side effects

If drops are used in the recommended dosage, then side effects do not occur. In rare cases, reactions of intolerance may develop, for example, nausea, tachycardia, headache, irritability, allergic manifestations, rash, high blood pressure and so on.
