Dorithricin instruction for use

You can buy Dorithricin online

Composition

One Dorithricin tablet contains 0.5 milligrams of tirotricin, 1.5 milligrams of benzocaine, and 1 milligram of benzalkonium chloride.
Also present are 1 milligram of sodium saccharinate, peppermint leaf oil, 20 milligrams of sucrose stearate, 10 milligrams of carmellose sodium, 10 milligrams of povidone (polyvidone K25), 80 milligrams of talc and 871 milligrams of sorbitol.

Form of issue

Produced in the form of white round tablets intended for resorption, having a flat-cylindrical form, chamfer, marking DORITHRICIN on one side and mint smell.

pharmachologic effect

This drug is complex.
Tirotricin is a topical antibiotic that is a mixture of antimicrobial cyclic and linear polypeptides that are isolated in the fermentation stage of Brevibacillus brevis Dudos, and consists mainly of tyrosidin and gramicidin. It has a bactericidal effect and promotes the processes of phosphorylation in the respiratory chain in cells, and also destroys the membranes of bacterial cells. Also, this active substance does not cause cross-resistance to the drug.
Benzalkonium chloride is a quaternary cation surfactant, which breaks the permeability of cell membranes and interacts with lipoproteins. It has a fungicidal effect on some lipophilic viruses and Candida albicans, and antiseptic action against gram-positive bacteria.
Benzocaine is a local anesthetic that reduces pain during swallowing, which usually occurs with infectious inflammatory processes of the throat and mouth.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Tirotricin has no data on pharmacokinetics due to low systemic absorption. It also has no effect on the intestinal microflora.
Benzalkonium chloride is absorbed very little, does not have a resorptive effect and is excreted by the kidneys. In the tissues of the body does not accumulate.
Benzocaine is poorly soluble in water, which is why it is slowly absorbed. It is cleaved by esterase in the liver and blood plasma, as are all the ether derivatives of para-aminobenzoic acid. As a result, ethyl alcohol is formed, which is metabolized to acetylcoenzyme A, and paraaminobenzoic acid.

Indications for use

Dorithricin is indicated for infectious-inflammatory diseases of the pharynx and oral cavity, which are accompanied by painful sensations:
    inflammation of the oral mucosa (stomatitis, gingivitis);
    the initial stage of angina, laryngitis, pharyngitis.

Contraindications

Tablets can not be taken with:
    children under six;
    hereditary intolerance to fructose, isomaltase / sucrose deficiency, or galactose / glucose absorption disorder;
    strong individual sensitivity to tirotricin, benzocaine or benzalkonium chloride.

Side effects

After resorption of tablets, allergic reactions can occur, in rare cases - disorders of the stomach and intestines, manifested by diarrhea and nausea. With aggravation of side effects or other side effects not listed in the instructions, you should consult your doctor.

Reviews about Dorithricin

Reviews about Dorithricin speak about its high efficiency. The drug relieves pain in the first minutes after application. Also positive is the fact that the effect of the drug is limited to the mouth and throat, so although it is an antibiotic, it is not necessary to take additional medications to maintain the intestinal microflora.
