Composition

The active substance of omeprazole is omeprazole. In addition, the drug contains the following additional components: granules from sucrose and corn starch, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, lactose, mannitol, talc purified, sodium hydrogen phosphate.
The capsule shell consists of the following components: brilliant blue, gelatin, propylpyrgidroxybenzoate, carmosein, methyl parahydroxybenzoate. The enteric coating contains diethyl phthalate, hypromelose phthalate, isopropanol, titanium dioxide, dichloromethane.
Clarithromycin tablets contain Clarithromycin as an active substance and, in addition, the following additional components: silicon colloidal dioxide, stearic acid, croscarmellose sodium, talc purified, magnesium stearate, MCC, povidone.
The film coating consists of hypromellose, propylene glycol, titanium dioxide, vanillin, giprolose, sorbitan monooleate, quinoline yellow dye, talcum purified.
Amoxicillin capsules have an active ingredient such as Amoxicillin trihydrate. In addition, they include the following additional substances: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide colloid, sodium lauryl sulfate.
The capsule body includes dye quinoline yellow, titanium dioxide, dye sunset yellow, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, gelatin, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium lauryl sulfate. It acts as an antimicrobial agent, suppressing the synthesis of the protein of microbial cells. When ingested, a 14-hydroxyclarithromycin metabolite is formed, which is also effective against many microbes.
Amoxicillin is semi-synthetic Penicillin, which acts as a broad-spectrum bactericidal agent. It inhibits the synthesis of peptidoglycan during fission and growth.
All the components of the Pylobact AM complex have a good absorption when administered orally.
Omeprazole is absorbed after a very short time. It is excreted mainly with urine. Its bioavailability is about 35% regardless of the time of meals. The maximum concentration of the drug in the plasma is 30-60 minutes after application. The connection with plasma proteins is 90%. Omeprazole is almost completely cleaved in the liver.

Indications for use

Complex Pylobact AM is prescribed for eradication therapy of Helicobacter pylori to people suffering from duodenal ulcer.

Contraindications

The drug should not be taken with:
    hypersensitivity to its components and antibiotics of the macrolide group;
    pregnancy;
    porphyria;
    renal and hepatic insufficiency;
    childhood;
    lactation.

Side effects

When using this tool, the following adverse reactions are possible:
    Digestive system: nausea, dysbacteriosis, flatulence, dry mouth, stomatitis, impaired liver function, diarrhea / constipation, vomiting, abdominal pain, taste disturbances, an increase in the activity of liver enzymes.
    Musculoskeletal: myalgia, muscle weakness, arthralgia.
    The circulatory system: leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenic purpura.

Instructions for use (Method and dosage)

Medications that are part of the Pylobact AM complex are taken orally.
Each strip is designed for a day of reception and includes two sets for morning and evening (red and blue).
In the morning, take a capsule of Omeprazole, 2 capsules of Amoxicillin and 1 tablet of Clarithromycin. The evening dosage is the same.
Capsules and tablets can not be chewed and broken, they must be swallowed completely. The course of treatment is designed for a week.

Overdose

An overdose of the drug is not described.

Interaction

Omeprazole in combination with Phenytoin, Warfarin and Diazepam may slow their elimination. It also affects the absorption of ketoconazole, iron salts and Ampicillin.
In combination with Clarithromycin, the concentrations of Teofillin, Carbamazepine, Phenytoin, Lovastatin, cisapride, Astemizole, Cyclosporine, Dizopyramide, Valproate, Pimozide and Digoxin are increased, therefore strict dosage control is necessary. And when taken together with Terfenadine, it is possible not only to increase its concentration, but also to extend the QT interval.
In the case of a history of heart disease, it is not desirable to combine Clarithromycin with Terfenadine, Astemizole and Cisapride. Taking with oral anticoagulants can lead to a potentiation of their effect. Co-administration with indirect anticoagulants must necessarily be accompanied by a controlled prothrombin time.
Amoxicillin together with oral contraceptives may reduce their effectiveness.

Storage conditions

Pilobakt AM must be kept in a dry place with a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.
