The composition of this tool includes the following components: tincture of belladonna, tincture of rhizomes of valerian, lily of the valley tincture. Also in the composition of drops is menthol.

Zelenin drops are a brownish-yellow or transparent liquid that has a characteristic odor and is contained in bottles with a dropper of dark glass. Each bottle contains 15 or 25 ml of the drug. The bottle is packed in a cardboard box.

The drug is a combined preparation that is of vegetable origin. Its effect on the body is determined by those components that are part of the drug.
The belladonna leaf provides spasmolytic and m-cholinoblocking effect. This component prevents the stimulating effect of acetylcholine, and also reduces the level of pancreatic secretion; gastric, salivary, lacrimal, bronchial, sweat glands. The action of this component provides a decrease in the tone of the muscles of the bile ducts, the gallbladder, and the gastrointestinal tract. Sheet belladonna causes tachycardia, provides an improvement in AV-conduction. Also, when this ingredient is taken, the pupils are enlarged, the intraocular pressure increases, the outflow of the intraocular fluid decreases, and the paralysis of accommodation also occurs due to its influence.
Tincture of the lily of the valley provides a cardiotonic effect on the body, increases the frequency and intensity of contraction of the heart muscle.
The rhizome of valerian with roots acts on the body as an antispasmodic and sedative. Valerian contributes to the normalization of falling asleep. Facilitates the onset of natural sleep. Sedation after taking valerian is slow, but it is stable. There is also a choleretic effect, activation of the secretion of the gastric mucosa and intestines. Valerian slows the rhythm of the heart, dilates the coronary vessels. Menthol is a local irritant. It has an anesthetic, venotonic, reflex, antianginal, coronarodilating effect.
