Dentinox is an effective drug that significantly facilitates teething in young children and reduces the likelihood of developing potential complications in them.
Combination of an anti-inflammatory agent of plant origin, which is an extract of chamomile flowers, with small doses of local anesthetics lidocaine and macrogol lauryl ether (polydocanol 600), acting in the peripheral nerve endings and provoking their reversible blocking, allows for a rapid and prolonged analgesic effect with teething in children.
In addition, in comparison with solutions for external use, the gel when teething has a composition that can be well retained on the mucosa in the mouth for a long time, which in turn makes it possible to obtain a prolonged therapeutic effect from its use.
The absence of sugars and preservatives as ingredients contributes to the preservation of teeth in good condition and does not lead to their premature destruction. Sugar in Dentinox is replaced by xylitol and sorbitol, which does not provoke the development of caries.
Both dosage forms of the drug are used as an external remedy. This and the use of active, however, safe for the child's organism, concentration of active components makes it possible to consider the pharmacokinetic parameters of the drug as unimportant.

Contraindications

Contraindication to the appointment of Dentinox is an increased individual sensitivity to any of its components. According to additional information provided by the manufacturer of the drug in order to increase the safety of its use, it can be, for example:
    intolerance to chamomile or other Compositae;
    lidocaine or similar in its effect local anesthetics (anesthetics of the amide type);
    sorbitol (a food additive with a sweetish flavor);
    other substances that make up the preparation.
Also, the use of gel and solution is not recommended in the presence of lesions in the oral cavity.

Instructions for use Dentinox recommends the use of the drug with the appearance of the first symptoms of eruption of infant teeth in children.
