Composition

The active ingredient of the ointment is refined naphthalan oil.
Auxiliary ingredients:
    purified water;
    emulsion wax;
    ethyl alcohol (95% solution).

Release form

Available in the form of an ointment intended for external use only.
The drug has a characteristic odor, very similar to the smell of oil. The ointment should be brown.

Characteristically antifungal, softening, absorbing, analgesic, antiseptic effect on the skin, reduces inflammation, promotes wound healing and relieves itching.

The active ingredient of the drug, naphthalan oil, contains a large amount of naphthenic carbohydrates. These substances stimulate the regenerative processes in the damaged areas of the skin, normalize the rate of metabolic processes in the skin and adjacent tissues. They also affect the composition of the blood, in particular its rheological properties, reduce the tendency to form blood clots, while increasing the content of red blood cells in the peripheral blood.
Naphtaderm can influence the adrenal cortex by stimulating the secretion of corticosteroids, which helps to suppress inflammatory processes.

Pharmacokinetics

Mainly acts on the tissue adjacent to the place of application of the ointment. Systemic effect on the body is negligible, therefore, no studies have been conducted regarding the pharmacokinetic characteristics of the drug.
