Application area

As an additional source of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), omega-3, including: eicosapentaenoic and docosahexaenoic. Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids are irreplaceable nutritional factors that are not synthesized in the body and should be regularly taken with food.
Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, being the precursors of the active and important bioregulators formed from them - the E3 eicosanoids of the E3 line, affect the processes of thrombus formation, the tone of blood vessels, and the immune status of the organism. By incorporating omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids into the lipid bilayer of cell membranes, they regulate their microviscosity, permeability, and form the corresponding lipid environment of membrane proteins and enzymes. Docosahexaenoic acid is an important component in shaping the development of the central nervous system and brain.

Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids contribute to:

• normalization of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood;
• reducing the formation of low density lipoproteins;
• increase elasticity and reduce the permeability of the vascular wall;
• reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
