pharmachologic effect

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Pharmacodynamics

Due to the high content of tocopherols and carotenoids, Tycveolum has a noticeable antioxidant effect, inhibits the processes of peroxide oxidation of lipids found in biological membranes.
Hepatoprotective action is explained by the action of essential phospholipids, which have membrane-stabilizing properties and slow down the development of damages of hepatocyte membranes, and also accelerate their recovery.
The role of essential fatty acids is to participate in lipid metabolism and regulate the metabolism of triglycerides and cholesterol, they are also necessary for the proper flow of arachidonic acid metabolism, which is the biochemical precursor of prostaglandins.
Tycveolum significantly improves the state of the biliary tract, due to a change in the chemical composition of bile, has a slight choleretic effect, relieves inflammation that has arisen in the epithelial cells of the bile excretory system.
Also, Tycveolum has antiandrogenic properties, therefore it can reduce proliferation of cells in the prostate gland with benign hyperplasia, it can normalize its function by improving blood circulation through capillaries and anti-inflammatory action. Due to this, it eliminates the pain syndrome with prostatitis.
With prolonged use of the drug in the blood, the level of cholesterol is reduced - lipid-lowering effect.
