Description of Aira rhizomes

Shredded rhizomes. Pieces of rhizomes of various shapes. The color is yellowish or whitish-pink, sometimes grayish green, tawny, reddish-brown, sometimes dark brown. The smell is strong, fragrant, characteristic. The taste of water extract is spicy-bitter.
Powder. Pieces of rhizomes of various forms are yellowish, yellowish white, whitish pink, grayish green, yellowish brown, reddish-brown, with a partially preserved yellowish brown or brownish stopper. The smell is strong, fragrant, characteristic. The taste of water extract is spicy-bitter.

Pharmacotherapeutic group

Appetite stimulant of vegetable origin (bitterness).

pharmachologic effect

Irritating the taste receptors of the mucous membranes of the mouth and tongue, the infusion of the rhizomes of the aura reflexively increases the secretion of gastric juice, increases appetite and improves digestion.

Indications for use

Applied as a means of increasing appetite and improving digestion in complex therapy for hypothyroidism of the gastrointestinal tract.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Aira rhizomes.

Dosing and Administration of Aira rhizomes

About 8 g (1 tablespoon) is placed in enameled dishes, poured 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, covered with a lid and heated in a water bath for 15 minutes, cooled 45 minutes at room temperature, filtered, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
Take inside in a warm form for 1/3 cup 3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.
Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
4 filter packs (6 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of boiling water, cover and insist 15 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them.
The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
Take inside in a warm form for 1/3 cup 3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.
Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Form of issue

Shredded rhizomes for 30 g, 35 g, 40 g, 50 g, 60 g, 75 g, 100 g in packs of cardboard with an inner package.
Powder in filter bags of 1.5 g; for 10 or 20 filter bags in a pack of cardboard.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry, dark place; prepared infusion - in a cool place not more than 2 days.
Keep out of the reach of children!

Shelf life

Chopped rhizomes -3 years.
Powder in filter bags - 1 year 6 months.
Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
