Characteristic

The rhizomes and roots of the burnet contain a polyphenol complex, including tannins, ellagic and gallic acids, pyrogallol, catechin and gallocatechin, as well as saponins and flavonoids, etc.

Description of Burnet roots

Ground raw materials. Pieces of rhizomes and roots of various shapes. The color is yellowish, brownish yellow with a dark brown, almost black cork. The smell is absent. The taste of water extract is astringent.

pharmachologic effect

A decoction of rhizomes and roots of burnet has astringent, hemostatic, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications for use

Acute and chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, accompanied by diarrhea; heavy menstrual bleeding; minor bleeding in the post-coagulation period of cervical treatment.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, lactation.
With caution taken with increased blood clotting, thromboembolism (in history).

Dosage and administration

About 12 g (1 tablespoon) of the raw material is placed in an enamel bowl, 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water is poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes. Filter out without cooling. The remaining raw material is pressed. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.
Is ingested by ΒΌ cup 4 times a day.
Before use, the broth is recommended to shake.
3 filter bags (4.5 g) are placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover and infuse for 15 minutes, periodically pressing the teabags with a spoon, then squeezing them. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.
Accept inside on 1/2 glasses 4 times a day.
Before use, the broth is recommended to shake.

Side effect

Allergic reactions are possible. With prolonged use - increased blood clotting.

Release form Burnet roots

Crushed raw materials for 30 g, 35 g, 40 g, 50 g, 60 g, 75 g, 100 g in carton packs with an inner bag.
Powder in filter bags of 1.5 g; on 10 or 20 filter packages in a pack cardboard.

Storage conditions

In a dry, dark place and out of reach of children; cooked broth - in a cool place for no more than 2 days.
Shelf life - 5 years.
Do not use after the expiration date printed on the package.
