Composition
Grass thyme contains essential oils, tannins, bitterness, gum, triterpenoids (ursolic and oleanolic acids), flavonoids, macro and microelements, etc.
Description
Ground raw materials. Mixture of slices of thin stems, leaves and flowers of thyme creeping (thyme). Pieces of stems are tetrahedral, thin (0.5 mm), greenish or yellowish brown, sometimes with a purple hue, the leaves are green or grayish-green, whole and in the form of pieces of various shapes. The flowers are small, solitary with a bilabbing aureole of a bluish-violet color and a bilabiate reddish-brown calyx, often crushed. The scent is fragrant. The taste of the water extract is bitterish-spicy.

Indications for use
Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia).
Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Thyme grass, violations of the liver and / or kidneys, gastritis with high acidity, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, pregnancy and lactation.
Dosing and Administration for Thyme grass
Ground raw materials. About 10 grams (2-3 tablespoons) of thyme herbs are placed in enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool for 45 minutes at room temperature, strain through a double layer of gauze, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
Inside take 1 tablespoon 2-3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.
For mouth and throat rinses, use 1/2 to 1 glass 3-4 times a day in a warm form. Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
Powder. 1 filter bag is placed in a glass or enamelware, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and insist for 15 minutes. The filter package is squeezed out, the volume of the obtained infusion is brought to boiling water up to 100 ml.
Inside take 1/2 cup 2-3 times a day. For mouth and throat rinses, use 1/2 to 1 glass 3-4 times a day in a warm form. Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
