Composition

Wormwood bitter grass contains bitterness (absintine), essential oils (thujone, thujol, fellandren), sesquiterpene lactones, flavonoids, tannins.

Description

Flower baskets, pieces of stems and leaves of various shapes, passing through a sieve with holes 7 mm in diameter. Color grayish green. The smell is fragrant, peculiar, strong. The taste of water extract is spicy-bitter.
Pharmacotherapeutic group: appetite stimulant of vegetable origin (bitterness)

Pharmacodynamics

Strengthens the secretion of gastric juice, increases appetite, improves digestion. Possesses choleretic properties.

Indications

To stimulate appetite, improve digestion and as a cholagogue for diseases of the liver and gallbladder.

Contraindications for Artemisiae Herba absinthii

Individual intolerance. Increased gastric secretion, hyperacid gastritis, peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis, acute cholecystitis, pregnancy, lactation.

Dosing and Administration

10 g (2 tablespoons) of ground grass are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
Take inside 1/4 cup 3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.

Side effects of Artemisiae Herba absinthii

Allergic reactions; heartburn, gastralgia, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting (with prolonged use).

Overdose

Symptoms: tremor, headache, dizziness, hallucinations, convulsions.
Treatment: symptomatic.
Form release / dosage: Raw materials are ground.

In cardboard packs with an inner paper bag of 30 grams, 40 grams, 50 grams and 100 grams.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children.
Infusion - in a cool place no more than 2 days.
