Composition

    The composition of 1 ml of drops Grippferon contains not less than 10 000 IU of recombinant alpha-2b human interferon. Additional substances: sodium chloride, edetate disodium dihydrate, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, povidone 8000, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, water, macrogol 4000.
    In 1 ml (corresponding to 20 doses) of the preparation, the nasal dose spray Grippferon contains at least 10,000 IU of recombinant alpha-2b human interferon. Additional substances: sodium chloride, edetate disodium dihydrate, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, povidone 8000, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, water, macrogol 4000.

Grippferon (drops in the nose and spray) is a means of wide action (corona, rhino, adenovirus, parainfluenza, influenza and others). The intranasal route of administration provides long-term contact with the nasal mucosa, exerting an effect on the site of the initial introduction and replication of respiratory viral particles. The activity of one vial of the drug is comparable with the activity of one hundred ampoules of human leukocyte interferon.
Adaptation and resistance to Grippferon usually does not develop. The drug does not require an auxiliary symptomatic treatment (Panadol, Aspirin, vasoconstrictive drops against nasal congestion, sulfonamides). A carefully selected composition has a drying and absorbing effect that enhances the therapeutic effect of the active ingredient.
From the very beginning of taking the drug, the relief of the main symptoms of the disease (temperature, runny nose, pharynx hyperemia, headache) is fixed. The use of Grippferon at the first signs of the disease leads to its interruption. The duration of the disease is reduced by 35-45% on average.

When the first signs of illness occur, the drug is used for 5 days according to the following schemes, taking into account the age:
    Children under 1 year of age provide for 1 dose of medicine (500 ME) in the nasal passages five times a day (a single dose is 1000 ME, daily dose is 5000 ME);
    children 1-3 years are administered 2 doses in the nasal passages three to four times a day (a one-time dose is 2000 ME, daily dose is 6000-8000 ME);
    children 3-14 years of age are given 2 doses in the nasal passages four to five times a day (a single dose is 2000 ME, daily dose is 8000-10000 ME);
    Persons over 15 years of age are given 3 doses in the nasal passages five to six times a day (a one-time dose is 3000 IU, the daily dose is 15,000-18,000 IU).
To prevent influenza and SARS, the spray is used according to the following schemes:
    when directly in contact with a sick person or when obtaining supercooling, the drug is used in a single age dose twice a day, once;
    in the case of seasonal increase in the incidence of the drug used in the age-dose once in the morning every 1-2 days.
If necessary, repeat preventive treatment.

    drops for children under 1 year are applied in both nasal passages for 1 instillation five times a day (in children of this age, on the recommendation of the doctor, candles are more likely to be used);
