pharmachologic effect

The active substance tablets Afobazol has an anxiolytic effect, reduces the severity of feelings of anxiety. It has no effect on benzodiazepine receptors, therefore it does not lead to the development of drowsiness, relaxation of the striated muscle (muscle relaxation), memory loss and the ability of the cerebral cortex to concentrate. The drug does not lead to the formation of drug dependence. The active substance has an activating anxiolytic effect, which consists of the following effects:
Reducing feelings of anxiety (fears, concerns, bad forebodings).
Improve sleep (it does not develop drowsiness during the day).

To a greater extent, the anxiolytic effect of Afobazol tablets is expressed when it is used in individuals with asthenic traits (hypochondriacal, anxious people, with increased emotional lability).
After taking Afobazol tablets inside, the active substance is quickly and almost completely absorbed into the blood from the lumen of the upper sections of the digestive tract. It is well distributed in all tissues of the body. It is excreted mainly by the kidneys, the half-life (the time of deducing half of the entire dose of the drug) is about 45 minutes.

    Facilitating withdrawal syndrome after quitting.
Neurocirculatory dystonia is a violation of central nervous system regulation of systemic arterial pressure.
Afobazol tablets are also indicated in the complex therapy of somatic pathology, which includes bronchial asthma (bronchial spasm triggered by an allergic reaction), coronary heart disease (insufficient supply of oxygen and nutrients to the heart muscle), arterial hypertension (increased blood pressure), arrhythmia violation of the rhythm and frequency of contractions of the heart).
