Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics
Povidone-Iodine is a disinfectant, which is a complex of iodine with polyvidone, a high-molecular compound that can reduce the toxic effect of iodine on body cells. It is characterized by a wide spectrum of antimicrobial action due to direct influence on proteins of microorganisms (proteolytic properties). Has a partially bactericidal effect on gram-positive and gram-negative coca and bacilli, as well as on individual anaerobic bacteria, yeast, in addition - on the simplest viruses.
Allantoin is able to exert an anti-inflammatory effect, which in combination with polyvidone produces a therapeutic effect.
The drug easily penetrates the layers of the epithelium of the mucosa of the respiratory tract, gives an early effect in acute and chronic diseases.
Iodine in the body turns into iodides, which are mainly accumulated in the thyroid gland. They are excreted mainly by the kidneys and in small amounts with feces, sweating and salivation.
Indications for use

Instructions for the use of Jox (Method and dosage)
Both solution and spray are applied topically. The resulting solution should be rinsed with the oral cavity and pharynx 2-4 times a day, if necessary, more frequent use - up to 6 times a day with a minimum interval between rinses of 4 hours.
The instruction on the use of the Jox spray is reduced to the algorithm:

remove the cap, install the applicator, press several times on the applicator, so that the solution enters the nebulizer and can be sprayed after subsequent pressing;
then place the tube of the applicator in the oral cavity approximately 2-3 cm deep;
hold the breath, press 2 times on the cap for irrigation for the first time - on the right side, in the second - on the left side of the oral cavity.
