Form of release, composition and packaging
Spray nasal in the form of a transparent, colorless or slightly yellowish tinge of oily liquid with a specific odor.

pharmachologic effect
An anticongestive agent of plant origin. Has anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous effect, reduces the viscosity of the secretion of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract. It shows antibacterial activity against some strains of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Micrococcus luteus, Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli), as well as an antifungal effect against yeast and mold fungi (Candida ablicans, Aspergillus niger).
Pharmacokinetics
In accordance with the International Convention (EMEAHMPWG11 / 99), clinical studies of herbal preparations do not require an isolated study of pharmacokinetic parameters.
Indications for pinosol spray
- acute and chronic rhinitis of non-allergic etiology;
- Rhinopharyngitis;
- Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the nasal mucosa and nasopharynx.
Contraindications of Pinosol
- Allergic rhinitis;
- children's age till 3 years;
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Dosage
The drug is injected 1 dose into each nasal passage 3-6 times / day, depending on the severity of the inflammatory process. To do this, the safety cap of the metering pump is removed, the drug is injected lightly with the fingers and the dosing pump is closed with a safety cap.
Before applying the drug after removing the protective cap of the metering pump, you should lightly press your fingers to do 2 test injections (not in the nose!).
The course of treatment is 10 days. An increase in the duration and conduct of repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.
Side effects
In rare cases: allergic reactions, mild burning, itching, swelling of the nasal mucosa.
Overdose

Before the beginning of treatment with Pinosol it is necessary to check the individual reaction of the patient to the drug after a single instillation in the nose. In case of allergic reactions, the drug should be withdrawn.
