Composition

One tablet of Strepsils Intensive contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen. Additional substances: levomenthol, macrogol 300, lemon flavor, honey, liquid sucrose, potassium hydroxide, dextrose.

Pharmacodynamics

Both cyclooxygenases of the first and second type inhibit activity, inhibit arachidonic cascade reactions and disrupt the biosynthesis of prostaglandins and thromboxane. The effect of the drug comes half an hour after the beginning of resorption and lasts up to 3 hours.

Pharmacokinetics

Side effects

Instruction for Strepsils Intensive (Method and Dosage)

Tablets serve for resorption, do not swallow or crack them.

Overdose

Interaction

The drug reduces the effectiveness of antihypertensive, uricosuric and diuretics, increases the activity of anticoagulants (increases the risk of bleeding), fibrinolytics, antiaggregants, stimulates hypoglycemic effects of sulfonylureas, undesirable effects of mineralocorticoids, estrogens and glucocorticosteroids.
The drug is able to increase the concentration of Methotrexate and lithium preparations in the blood.
