The drug Festal represents a clinical and pharmacological group of enzyme medicines. It is used to reduce the load on digestive enzyme systems, as well as improve the flow of the digestive process.

The drug Festal is released in a dosage form, enteric-soluble tablets. They have white color, round shape, glossy surface. The composition of the drug includes several basic active substances, their content in one dragee is:
    Pancreatin - 192 mg (corresponds to the content of enzymes amylase 4500 ED, lipase 6000 ED, protease 300 units).
    Hemicellulose - 50 mg.
    Bile components - 25 mg.
Festal also contains auxiliary components, such as talc, glycerol, ethylvaniline, liquid dextrose, titanium dioxide, cellafelate, castor oil, gelatin, calcium carbonate, methylparaben, acacia gum, propylparaben, macrogol. Dragee Festal is packaged in a strip of aluminum foil in an amount of 10 pieces. The cardboard packet contains 2, 4, 6 or 10 strips of dragee and instructions to the preparation.

The composition of Pestal drops contains pancreatin, which contains digestive enzymes:

Contraindications

A number of pathological and physiological conditions of the patient's body are singled out, which are contraindications for taking Festal drops, which include:
    Hepatitis is an acute inflammation of the liver.

Dragee Festal is intended for oral administration. They are taken with food, do not chew and drink with enough water. For adults, the average therapeutic dosage is 1-2 tablets 3 times a day (along with food intake). The possibility of using a higher dosage is determined by the doctor. Side effects

Overdose
