A drug with antiulcer action and bactericidal activity against Helicobacter pylori. In the stomach forms insoluble compounds of bismuth oxychloride and citrate, and also, protein chelate compounds in the form of a film protecting the surface of erosions and ulcers. Strengthens the secretion of bicarbonate, the formation of mucus and the synthesis of prostaglandin E, stimulates the cytoprotective mechanisms, increases the protective properties of the gastrointestinal mucosa to the effects of hydrochloric acid, pepsin, bile salts and hydrochloric acid enzymes. Normalizes the accumulation of the epidermal factor in the mucosal defect zone. Reduces the enzymatic activity of pepsinogen and pepsin.

Pharmacokinetics

The preparation from the digestive tract is practically not absorbed and only a small amount of bismuth enters the systemic circulation. It is excreted mainly with feces, and part of the drug, which entered the bloodstream - by the kidneys.

Take before meals by one of their schemes:
