Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

The drug Sparex, with the active ingredient mebeverin, is a myotropic antispasmodic that has a direct effect on the smooth muscles of the digestive tract (basically, the action of the drug is exposed to the large intestine).
Mebeverin, without disturbing the normal peristalsis of the intestine and not showing anticholinergic action, facilitates or completely eliminates its spasm.
With oral (internal) admission, mebeverin goes through the stage of presystemic hydrolysis and is not detected in the blood plasma. Further transformations occur in the liver with the release of mebeverin alcohol and veratric acid.
The drug is released in the form of metabolites, mostly with urine and in small quantities with bile.
The drug form of Sparex allows its active ingredient to be released for a fairly long period of time (prolonged action). Even repeated taking of capsules does not lead to significant cumulation of the drug.

Reviews about sparex

To date, reviews about this drug are few and ambiguous. There are absolutely positive reviews that mark the rapid and effective action of capsules, and the opposite assessments of the effects of the drug.
If you take into account the active ingredient itself - mebeverine, then in this case, the evaluation of its effectiveness is often, in one way or another, a positive shade. Most patients are satisfied with its effect and did not observe any side effects.
