Composition

The IMUDON tablets include a mixture of bacterial lysates (dry matter): Enterococcus faecium, Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pyogenes group A, Staphylococcus aureus subsp. aureus, Streptococcus sanguis, Corynebacterium pseudodiphtheriticum, Klebsiella pneumoniae subsp. pneumoniae, Candida albicans, Fusobacterium nucleatum subsp. nucleatum, Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. lactis Lactobacillus helveticus.
Also, the drug contains additional components: glycine, lactose, mannitol, sodium saccharinate, povidone, sodium deoxycholate, citric acid anhydrous, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium stearate, mint powder, sodium merziolate.

Form of issue

The medicine Imudon (Imudon) is produced in tablets for resorption. Tablets are flat-cylindrical, white or almost white in color. They have a shiny smooth surface, beveled edges. Indications for use

Imudon is used for the purpose of treatment and prevention in such cases:
    with superficial and deep periodontitis;
    with stomatitis, periodontitis, glossitis;
    in the case of aphthous stomatitis;
    with diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx, having an infectious and inflammatory origin;
    in the case of ulcerative and erythematous gingivitis;
    with dysbacteriosis of the oral cavity;
    with tonsillitis chronic;
    with pharyngitis;
    in the case of ulceration due to wearing dentures;
    when the infection develops after the extraction of the teeth or due to the implantation of artificial dental roots;
    in the period of preoperative preparation for tonsillectomy;
    during the postoperative period after the tonsillectomy.

Contraindications

IMUDON tablets should not be taken if the patient has a high sensitivity to this drug or to any of its components, and tablets for children up to the age of three can not be administered.

Side effects of Imudon

Tablets need to be resorbed without chewing them, and the interval between taking the tablets should be at least one hour. Treatment lasts for an average of ten days.
In order to prevent the development of inflammatory chronic diseases of the pharynx and oral cavity, one should take 6 tablets daily. The interval between resorption of tablets should be at least 2 hours. The course of admission is 20 days.
Instruction on Imudon for children from 3 to 14 years suggests that in the treatment of chronic and acute inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx, and to prevent their occurrence, one should take 6 tablets daily.
