Instruction for Umckalor

You can buy Umckalor on this page

Composition

20 drops of the solution (1 gram) contains 800 mg of the extract of the pelargonium root.
Additional components: glycerine, ethyl alcohol.

Form of issue

The medication is available as a solution. Vials with a volume of 20 or 50 ml are packed in cardboard packs.

pharmachologic effect

The drug has antimicrobial, immunomodulating, antiviral effects. The medication is made from plant components: the root of Pelargonium reniforme / sidoides of South African origin.
The active substance protects tissues from the effects of infectious agents and promotes early recovery after microbial contamination. The root extract contains flavonoids, coumarins and specific acids of organic origin, which have a pronounced bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect against gram-positive flora and gram-negative bacteria (proteas, staphylococcus, klebsiella, streptococcus, mycobacteria, etc.).
Plant components stimulate the immune system, activating the mechanisms of nonspecific and specific immunity. Due to the induction of interleukin synthesis, the phagocytic activity of macrophages is increased, the production of interferon is enhanced.
Gallic acid and umkalin induce the production of nitric oxide to activate macrophages, which allows inactivating infectious agents. The drug has a cytoprotective effect, which is actively used in the therapy of microbial infections. Gallic acid stimulates the synthesis and release of interferon, activates the work of immune cells, promotes the mutual regulation of cytokines.
Quercetin has an antioxidant effect due to stabilization of oxidation-reduction processes (stimulates tissue respiration, reduces the severity of hypoxia, removes metabolic products and radionuclides from the body).
The drug stabilizes the state of the intercellular substance in the connective tissue, inhibits hyaluronidase, increases the strength of the walls of the vessels, and has a pronounced mucolytic effect. Plant components reduce the viscosity of sputum, promote its removal from the lumen of the bronchial tree.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Extract sidovidnoy pelargonium contains a huge number of biologically active components, the effect of which determines the pharmacological effect of the drug. That is why data on the pharmacokinetics of individual plant components is not enough to extrapolate the medication as a whole.
