Composition

In 100ml suspension contains 12.5g of zinc oxide, 12.5g of starch, 20g of glycerin, 12.5g of medical talc, 20g of ethyl alcohol 70%, and up to 100g of distilled water.

Form of issue

The drug Cindol is available as a suspension in glass bottles with a capacity of 100 and 125ml.

pharmachologic effect

The drug has an astringent, drying, and antiseptic action.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Therapeutic effects of the drug are due to the presence in its composition of zinc oxide, which exerts a drying, astringent, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and adsorbing action on the skin.
Due to these properties, Cindol refers to dermatotropic drugs - it has a positive effect on skin and dermis, reducing the severity and intensity of the pathological processes taking place in them.
The suspension applied to the skin forms salts of the albumin protein - albumin, denaturing other proteins. This effect is extremely important for drying the skin, removing inflammation, as well as absorbing harmful substances, since most of the biological molecules that take part in irritations and inflammations of the skin are protein structures.
Having the ability to denature proteins, the drug reduces the secretion of fluids, and also reduces the severity of irritation and inflammation. The layer of denatured proteins on the skin formed by the action of the suspension creates a protective film protecting the affected skin from infection, and also creates a micro environment favorable for healing processes. Due to this protective layer, the skin is protected from harmful environmental factors, as well as various irritating substances. In addition, Cindol softens irritated skin.
