Composition

The composition of 1 ml of Generolon contains 50 or 20 mg of minoxidil.

Overdose

Interaction

There is a theoretical probability of increasing symptoms of orthostatic hypotension in individuals receiving concomitant therapy with peripheral vasodilator drugs.
Minoxidil for external use can interact with medications for external use. The simultaneous use of minoxidil for topical application and ointment containing betamethasone leads to suppression of systemic absorption of the former.
The combined use of a cream containing tretinoin results in increased absorption of minoxidil.
Co-deposition on the skin of Generolon and preparations for external use such as Tretinoin and Dithranol, causing a change in skin barrier function, leads to an increase in the adsorption of minoxidil.
