Composition

In one vial of the preparation, in addition to the basic active substance pidotimoda in an amount of 400 mg, there are auxiliary means:
    70% Sorbitol 2500 mg;
    fruit flavor with the smell of forest berries - 21 mg;
    sodium methylparahydroxybenzoate - 10.3 mg;
    sodium chloride - 5.6 mg;
    dye anthocyanin - 5.6 g;
    sodium saccharinate - 5 mg;
    edetate disodium 3.5 mg;
    trometamol - acidity regulator to pH 6.5;
    sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate 1.6 mg;
    Crimson dye "Ponso 4R" - 500 mcg;
    Purified water - up to 7 ml.

Form of issue

Imunorix is sold as a clear solution of characteristic red-violet color for oral use with berry aroma and pleasant taste. Fasuetsya in bottles of 7 ml in each, in the package of 10 pieces.

Imunorix is rapidly absorbed from the surface of the gastrointestinal tract. Its bioavailability (the amount of the drug delivered to the systemic circulation without any metabolic changes) is 45 percent. It binds to blood plasma proteins badly (only 5 percent of the drug is long circulating), therefore the half-life is so short - 4 hours.
Imunorix is excreted through the kidneys without undergoing qualitative changes.

Indications for use

Since Imunorix has immunomodulating properties, it is used in such pathological conditions as:
    Acute diseases of infectious genesis (when the exogenous causative agent is to blame) - laryngitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis and so on.
    Lesions of the bronchopulmonary system.
    To strengthen the immune response.

Contraindications

From the inclusion of Imunorix in the scheme of conservative treatment should be abandoned primarily with intolerance or hypersensitivity of the body to the components. Also, do not prescribe the drug to pregnant women, mothers who breastfeed, children under the age of three.
