Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

This drug is designed to restore immunological reactivity - the body's response to various pathogens, usually accompanied by the formation of protective qualities of the body. Also, the regulation of the number and correlation of T- and B-lymphocytes, which are the shaped elements of blood, responsible for the formation of both cellular and tissue protective forces of the human body, their subpopulations, is noted. In addition, stimulation of cellular immunity reactions is enhanced, phagocytosis, regeneration and hematopoiesis are intensified in cases of their inhibition, metabolic processes at the cellular level are improving.

Indications for use

This drug is prescribed for adults and children when:
    the need for an immunomodulator or biostimulator to enhance the protective forces of the body and metabolism, which acts as their stimulant during conditions and diseases accompanied by a decrease in immunity, for example, during acute or chronic pyoinflammatory diseases of soft tissues and bones;
    chronic and acute viral or bacterial infections;
    bronchial asthma;
    obliterating endarteritis;
    rheumatoid arthritis;
    Conditions that are associated with hypothyroidism of the thymus gland, suppression of immune defense and hematopoiesis as a result of radiation or chemotherapy in oncological and other diseases;

Before use, the powder must be dissolved in an isotonic sodium chloride solution. The finished solution is intended for daily intramuscular administration. Children up to one year are prescribed 1 mg; 1-3 years for 1-2 mg, at the age of 4-6 years for 2-3 mg, and for older children - 7-14 years for 3-5 mg.
Duration of treatment can be 3-10 days, and directly depends on the severity of immune disorders. When necessary, it is possible to repeat the therapeutic course after 1-6 months.
As a prophylaxis, tablets and injections are used daily in the form of intramuscular injection for adults at 5-10 mg, for children 1-5 mg, on average 3-5 days.

Overdose

Interaction

This drug is perfectly combined with biostimulants, immunostimulating drugs, isoniazid, rifampicin and glucocorticoid agents.
Simultaneous use with T-activated, Timaktid, Timogen or Timoptin, having similar efficacy, may lead to mutual enhancement of the drug effect of each of the drugs.
