pharmachologic effect

A drug that regulates the metabolism of cartilage tissue. It has chondrostimulating, regenerating and anti-inflammatory effects.
Chondroxide is involved in the construction of the main substance of cartilage and bone tissue. Affects metabolic processes in hyaline and fibrous cartilage. It inhibits degenerative processes in cartilage and connective tissue, inhibits enzymes that cause damage to cartilage tissue.
Chondroxide stimulates the biosynthesis of proteoglycans, promotes the regeneration of the articular sacs and the cartilaginous surfaces of the joints, increases the production of the intra-articular fluid, and has an anti-inflammatory effect. It slows down bone resorption and reduces calcium loss, accelerates bone repair processes.
Hondroksid slows the progression of osteoarthritis and osteochondrosis. The use of Chondroxide tablets reduces pain and improves the mobility of the affected joints, while the therapeutic effect lasts a long time after the end of the course of therapy.

Pharmacokinetics

With a single ingestion of the average therapeutic dose of Tmax in the plasma is 3-4 hours, Tmax in the synovial fluid is 4-5 hours. Bioavailability is 13%.
It accumulates mainly in the cartilage tissue (Tmax in the articular cartilage is 48 hours): the synovial membrane is not an obstacle to the penetration of Chondroxide tablets into the joint cavity. Excreted by the kidneys within 24 hours
