Form of formulation and composition of the preparation

The drug Dolgit is available in the following dosage forms:
    Gel 5% in aluminum tubes in volume of 20, 50 or 100 g in a cardboard bundle with the accompanying instruction. The active substance of the gel is ibuprofen (in 1 g of the gel contains 50 mg of the active ingredient);
    Cream 5% in aluminum tubes of 20, 50 or 100 g in a cardboard box with the attached instructions. The active substance of the cream is ibuprofen (in 1 g of cream contains 50 mg of the active ingredient).
The drug in both of its dosage forms is intended for external use only, do not apply ointment or gel to the mucous membranes!

Pharmacological properties of the drug

Dolgite is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug for external use. Active active substance gel and ointment has a pronounced analgesic effect, removes signs of inflammation, swelling, flushing and somewhat lowers the local temperature.
The active ingredient of the drug ibuprofen, when lost on the surface of the skin, dips into its deep layers and partially into the systemic bloodstream, thereby inhibiting the synthesis of the hormone prostaglandin, as the main mediator of the development of the inflammatory process.
When the preparation is applied to the area of ​​the inflamed joint, the patient's mobility is improved, the swelling and painful sensations disappear.

Indications for use of the drug

The drug Dolgit in the form of a gel or ointment is prescribed to patients for treatment of the following conditions:
    Inflammatory processes in the joints - arthritis, arthrosis;
    Rheumatism - on the area of ​​the affected joints;
    Gout - as part of complex therapy to relieve pain in the affected joints;
    Bechterew's disease;
    Osteochondrosis with involvement of the nerve roots in the pathological process;
    Osteoarthritis with signs of joint deformity;
    Sciatica;
    Lumbago;
    Bursitis - inflammation of the joint bag;
    Muscle pain caused by bruises, sprains, hypothermia;
    Dislocations - to relieve pain and relieve the inflammatory process;

Contraindications

Dosing and Administration

According to the instructions, the gel is applied no more than 4 times a day.

The duration of the course of therapy with the drug is no more than 10 days.
