Composition

1 gram of opalescent gel contains 5 mg of piroxicam active substance.
Additional components: potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium hydroxide, sodium metabisulphite, isopropanol, propylene glycol, water, hypromellose.

Form of issue

Piroxicam is the main active component and belongs to the NSAID group. The active substance has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. The mechanism of action is based on suppression of processes for synthesizing prostaglandins, which is provided by inhibiting the activity of cyclooxygenases 1 and 2. The gel does not cause dry skin. With external application, there is a decrease in the severity of the pain syndrome of joint and muscle genesis, a decrease in puffiness and an inflammatory process.

Indications for use

Contraindications

Finalgel does not apply when:
    pregnancy (3rd trimester);
    individual hypersensitivity to NSAIDs, acetylsalicylic acid and piroxicam in particular;
    age restrictions - up to 14 years;
    pathology of the renal system.

Relative contraindications:

    obstructive pulmonary disease (chronic course);
    infectious diseases of the respiratory tract (chronic course);
    allergic rhinitis;
    bronchial asthma;
    recurrent nasal polyposis.

Instructions for the use of Finalagel (Method and dosage)

The gel is applied externally. On the affected area, apply 1 gram of gel (size with a walnut). Instructions for use Finalagel recommends applying the gel up to 4 times a day, rubbing in neat, light movements. Overdose

It is manifested by negative reactions of a systemic nature:
    epigastric pain;
    nausea;
    headaches like migraines;
    interstitial nephritis with nephrotic syndrome and functional renal failure;
    dyspnea.
With the development of the symptoms described above, the treatment is immediately discontinued and post-prandial therapy is performed.
