Composition

Biologically active alpha-linolenic acid, contained in flax oil, has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect on various structures (subcutaneous tissue, muscle, joint capsule).

Pharmacokinetics

Diclofenac and methyl salicylate, which are part of the gel, are absorbed into the skin slowly, penetrate into the joint cavity and capsule. With prolonged use of the drug or applying the gel to large areas of the skin, the active substances gradually penetrate into the subcutaneous tissues, blood and synovial fluid. With prolonged application of the gel at a concentration of 10 mg / cm (2.5 g) 3 times a day, the diclofenac concentration in the plasma was stably about 40 nmol / L and 350 nmol / L in the joint fluid. At the same time, blood concentrations decrease rapidly, and remain stable in the synovial fluid. Metabolism is carried out in the liver, the drug is excreted in the urine and with feces.

Indications for use

Osteochondrosis of the spine, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, myalgia, bursitis, tendovaginitis, radiculitis, neuralgia, sprains of muscles, ligaments and tendons, traumatic strokes, swelling of soft tissues, tenderness of joints and muscles due to physical exertion.

Contraindications

    high sensitivity to the drug, aspirin or other NSAIDs;
    damage to the skin;
    pregnancy (especially III trimester) and lactation;
    age up to 6 years.
Apply with caution to patients with severe impaired renal function, CHF, bronchial asthma, in old age, children under 12 years.

Side effects

In rare cases, local reactions (itching, flaking, redness, swelling at the site of rubbing, photosensitivity, eczema, vesicles, papules) and systemic manifestations (hives, skin rash, bronchospasm, angioedema) are possible.
