Form of formulation and composition of the preparation
Indovasin is available in the form of a cream and gel for external use in aluminum tubes of 45 g in a cardboard bundle with the attached detailed instructions. The cream has a more dense consistency in contrast to the gel and is prescribed for patients with dry skin.
The main active substance of the drug is indomethacin - 30 mg per 1 g and troxerutin - 20 mg per 1 g. As an auxiliary component, the composition of the drug includes ethanol 96%.
Pharmacological properties of the drug
The drug Indovasin is a complex drug for external use, the main active ingredients of which are indomethacin and troxerutin.
Indomethacin is a substance that exerts a pronounced anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-edematous effect. When the preparation is applied to the skin, the patient's pain decreases, the edema subsides, the regeneration processes are accelerated.
Included in the composition of the drug troxerutin refers to bioflavonoids. This substance belongs to the group of angioprotectors, reduces the permeability of the vascular wall, improves the elasticity of the walls of the vessels, has a pronounced venotonic effect. Contraindications
Before starting treatment with gel or cream, Indovasine, the patient should carefully read the attached instructions, since the medicine has a number of the following restrictions:

Third trimester of pregnancy;
Breastfeeding period;
Age at children till 14 years;
Individual intolerance of components included in the composition of the product;
