In diseases characterized by a pathological permanent contractility of skeletal muscles, the drug Baclosan facilitates cramps and painful spasms. The drug increases the amplitude of movements in the joints, simplifies the conduct of kinesitherapy (massage, gymnastics, manual therapy).

Pharmacokinetics

After taking Baclosan tablets, they are adsorbed in the intestines of a high degree. The maximum concentration in the blood is observed three hours after the application of the drug.
The binding with plasma proteins reaches 30%. The drug penetrates the placental barrier, is excreted in breast milk. Metabolism occurs in the liver. It is excreted in the urine in its original form.
