Pharmacodynamics

Solution Piracetam is a nootropic agent that, due to a direct effect on the brain, improves cognitive (cognitive) processes, such as learning ability, memory, attention, and also increases mental performance. Piracetam affects the central nervous system in various ways: by affecting the speed of propagation of excitation in the brain, improving metabolic processes in the nerve cells, improving microcirculation and hemorheology, while not having a vasodilating effect. Piracetam inhibits platelet aggregation and restores the elasticity of erythrocyte membranes, reduces the adhesion of erythrocytes. At a dose of 9.6 g reduces the level of fibrinogen and Willibrand factors by 30-40% and increases the bleeding time. Piracetam has a protective and regenerating effect in violation of brain function due to hypoxia and intoxication, reduces the severity and duration of vestibular nystagmus.

Pharmacokinetics
