Form of issue

pharmachologic effect

Jocet has mucolytic, expectorant and bronchodilator effects. Due to the content of menthol reduces irritation of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract, has soothing, antiseptic and antispasmodic properties, and also has a soft stimulation on the secretion of the bronchial glands.
Due to the content of guaifenesin increases the productivity of cough, facilitates the removal of sputum and has an activating effect on the ciliary apparatus of the bronchi. It also reduces the viscosity of sputum, increases the serous component of bronchial secretion, reduces adhesive properties and surface tension of sputum.
Due to the content of bromhexine activates the cilia of the ciliated epithelium, which improves the sputum evacuation. Stimulates the secretory cells of the bronchial mucosa and dipolarizes acidic mucopolysaccharides, thereby reducing the viscosity of sputum. It also has a slight antitussive and expectorant effect.
Salbutamol in the drug reduces or prevents bronchospasm, stimulates β2-adrenergic receptors of the bronchi.
