Neo-Angin instruction for use

Description

The Neo-Angin drug with its prefix "neo" hints at its uniqueness and exclusivity in the treatment of angina. So it is: "Neo-Angin" is the original patented trade "brand" from the German pharmaceutical company "Divafarma". Neo-Angin is a combination of antibacterial components of local action, the place of application of pharmacological "skills" of which is the oral cavity and pharynx. The purpose of Neo-Angin is the prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, including the oropharynx and larynx (although the latter is often reckoned to the lower respiratory tract). To the diseases with which neo-angina can cope, pharyngitis (inflammation of the pharynx), laryngitis (inflammation of the larynx), uncomplicated tonsillitis (inflammation of the tonsils), stomatitis (inflammation of the oral mucosa) and gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) are classified. Neo-Angin is available in tablets, but here, as one of the heroes of Quentin Tarantino said, there may be some "small differences" that are in the qualitative composition of the auxiliary substances: in some tablets there is sugar (sucrose + glucose syrup), in others - not. Sugar, of course, tastes better, but its presence is subject to certain limitations, which you can learn by reading the article to the end. As for the active substances, in both cases their set is the same: it is 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, levomenthol and amylmetacresol. If the reader is not fond of chemistry and the basics of pharmaceutical synthesis, he can skip this proposal: dichlorobenzyl alcohol is flesh from the flesh of benzene, amylmetacresol is a phenol derivative, and levomenthol is the most real monoterpene. The presence of all of the above substances allows neo-angina to be a rather strong antiseptic and a weak local anesthetic. The antiseptic (disinfecting) effect of Neo-Angin extends to a number of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms attacking the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and pharynx. So, among the bacteria most often becoming the causes of pharyngitis, one should mention such gram-positive and gram-negative objects of the microworld as the notorious staphylococcus, fusobacteria, pneumococci.
The most common infections are Staphylococcus aureus, Haemophilus influenzae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Branhamella catarrhalis. Less common pathogens and yeast fungi (eg Candida albicans) become pathogens. The natural result of infection of the mucous membrane of the oropharynx is various diseases accompanied by catarrhal symptoms, sore throat and difficulty in swallowing, which were listed at the very beginning of the article.
2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmethacresol are sister substances having a similar mechanism of action: both these chemical compounds bind to the lipids of bacterial and fungal cell membranes, which explains their antibacterial and antimycotic effect. Levomenthol potentiates the effect of its "partners" on the pharmacotherapeutic combination and, in addition to this, has a weak anesthetic effect, based on the stimulation of the thermoreceptors (or rather, the cold ones) of the mucous membrane. Using Neo-Angin in the initial stage of the disease, you can avoid the need for heavy antibacterial "artillery" - antibiotics. Neo-Angin is well tolerated and pleasant to the taste. It is important that with long-term use its effectiveness against pathogenic microflora does not decrease. All the ingredients of neo-angina are rapidly absorbed into the digestive tract and are also rapidly eliminated from the body without cumulating or creating the prerequisites for the development of side effects. Tablets are designed for resorption in the mouth. Adults and children over 6 years should do this every 2-3 hours. Single dose - 1 tablet. Adhesion of active substances on the mucosa provides a lasting pharmacological effect. Attention: with prolonged use of neo-angina, it is necessary to keep in mind the possible damaging effect on tooth enamel (remember: sugar!). The presence of sugar in tablets excludes the possibility of using this form in diabetics.

Whatever you say, and "Neo-Angin" - this is probably the only remedy for the throat. which helped me best with my persistent sore throat. There was a case when I had a bad cold at work, the constant drafts in the office left a trace on my weak immunity, and once again the tonsils increased so much that it was impossible even to swallow. And when I had to travel around the city for work, I went to the first drug store to buy medicine. On the counter, I saw "Neo-angina." I immediately became interested in the name. A sore throat more and more. I bought candies and went to the office. Hospital authorities did not want to give me, there were too many urgent tasks, and I at once began to suck the candy. My joy was no limit, the throat of the minutes stopped to ache, and even the fever was asleep. An hour later I took another "Neo-angina" candy, and my throat completely stopped feeling ill. This drug was just a rescue, I could at least finish it by the end of the day. In the evening at home I again used candy a few times, and at night. The morning of the next day, angina as a hand took off.

My husband's throat has recently started to hurt. I bought him "Neo-angina." He sucked these candies and rinsed his throat. But, unfortunately, they did not help. Angina developed into purulent, the husband could no longer eat and talk, and the temperature rose above 39 degrees. Apparently, with purulent angina they are rather weak. Without antibiotic could not do. Moreover, I had to take a strong antibiotic - ceftriaxone. Well, so the doctor attributed.
