Form of release, composition and packaging

pharmachologic effect

Helps maintain a normal physiological state of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, as well as liquefaction of mucus and normalization of its production by goblet cells of the mucosa. Microelements that are part of the sea water, have anti-inflammatory effect, stimulate reparative processes, improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the mucous membrane to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses, contributes to its purification.

Indications for Sialor Aqua

- Adenoids, acute, allergic, vasomotor rhinitis, chronic diseases of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx, paranasal sinuses, incl. accompanied by dry mucous membrane of the nasal cavity;
- Prevention of infections of the nasal cavity in the autumn-winter period, with changing climatic conditions (rooms with air conditioning and / or central heating), the presence of contaminated atmospheric air (smokers, drivers of vehicles, hot and dusty shops);
- washing the wounds of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses before and after surgery;
- hygienic procedures of the nasal cavity (including in infants).

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to the components of Sialor Aqua.

Dosage

Sialor Aqua should be administered intranasally.
With a therapeutic purpose (treatment of diseases of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx): for children under 1 year (infants) - 1-2 drops per each nasal stroke 1 -3 times a day; children from 1 year to 7 years - 2 drops in each nasal passage 4 times a day; children from 7 to 16 years - 2 drops per each nasal stroke 4-6 times a day; adults - 2-3 drops in each nasal passage 4-8 times a day.
The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks, if necessary, the course of treatment is repeated after 1 month.
With the preventive purpose: to children under 1 year (infants) - with the help of turunds moistened with the drug, 2 times a day, or by instillation 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day; children from 1 year to 7 years - 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 1-3 times a day; children from 7 to 16 years - 2 drops in each nasal passage 2-4 times a day; adults - 2-3 drops in each nasal passage 3-6 times a day.
With a hygienic purpose: to soften and remove the discharge from the nose, Sialor Aqua is instilled repeatedly (removing excess fluid with cotton or a handkerchief) in each nasal passage until the softening and removal of secretions are completely softened. Children under the age of 2 years should be washed in the prone position. Turn the child's head to one side, wash the upper nasal passage, then repeat the procedure with another nasal passage. Plant a child, wipe the discharge from the nose. Children older than 2 years and adults should tilt their heads to one side, rinse the upper nasal passage, repeat the procedure with another nasal passage.
