The composition of Hexavit
One Hexavit gel contains 0.07 g of ascorbic acid, 0.015 g of nicotinamide, 0.002 g of pyridoxine hydrochloride, 5000 IU of retinyl palmitate, 0.002 g of riboflavin, 0.002 g of thiamine hydrochloride, 0.002 g of thiamine hydrochloride.
Additional substances: flour, sucrose, sunflower oil, food flavor, beeswax, talc, starch syrup, quinoline yellow dye.
Form of issue
50 dragees in a polymer jar - one jar in a cardboard bundle.
50, 150 or 100 dragees in a polymer bank - one in a group package.

Instructions for the use of Hexavit (Method and dosage)
To prevent hypovitaminosis, the instruction for the use of Hexavit prescribes taking 1 tablet a day.
In other cases it is advised to prescribe vitamins of Hexavit to children aged 3-7 years, 1 tablet twice a day, and for patients from 7 years - 1 dragee three times a day.
Overdose
Signs of an overdose: eructation, drowsiness, abdominal pain, constipation, itching, diarrhea, skin rash, headache.
Therapy: gastric lavage, then reception of enterosorbents. Symptomatic treatment.
Interaction
Retinol weakens the anti-inflammatory effect of glucocorticoid hormones. The drug should not be taken together with cholestyramine and nitrites, because they inhibit the absorption of retinol.
Vitamin A is prohibited from prescribing with other retinoids, since their combination is toxic.
Streptomycin is incompatible with riboflavin and weakens the effectiveness of antibacterial drugs (Doxycycline, Oxytetracycline, Erythromycin, Linkomycin, Tetracycline).
Pyridoxine inhibits the action of Levodopa, reduces the toxic effects observed with the use of isoniazid and other anti-tuberculosis drugs.
Amitriptyline, tricyclic antidepressants and Imipramine suppress the exchange of riboflavin.
Vitamin C increases the risk of developing crystalluria with simultaneous application with sulfonamides, increases the concentration of Penicillin in the blood, improves absorption of iron, weakens the effect of indirect anticoagulants and Heparin.

When using the drug, yellow staining of urine is possible - this phenomenon is completely harmless and is caused by the presence of riboflavin in the composition.
It is not recommended for patients with diabetes mellitus, rare hereditary diseases (fructose intolerance, glucose absorption / galactose disruption syndrome or sucrose / isomaltase deficiency).
