Composition

One Grammidin Neo tablet contains 3 mg of gramicidin C (used in the form of dihydrochloride), 1 mg of cetylpyridinium chloride (used in the form of monohydrate).
As additional auxiliary compounds used: colloidal silicon dioxide (aerosil 200), acesulfame potassium, talc, mint flavor, sorbitol (Neosorb) and magnesium stearate.

Form of issue

Tablets are distinguished by an inscription on one side of the "GR", they have a white color and a round biconvex shape. In one carton pack, 18 tablets (2 blisters on 9 tablets).

Grammidin Neo is a combination drug designed to treat infectious diseases of the mouth and throat. The therapeutic effect is provided by active compounds - antimicrobial agent gramicidin C and antiseptic agent cetylpyridinium chloride.
The antimicrobial effect of gramicidin C is based on the ability to increase the permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane, disrupt stability and cause the death of microorganisms, the causative agents of the main oropharyngeal diseases.
Gramicidin C has a pronounced antimicrobial effect against infectious agents of the oral cavity and pharynx.
Cetylpyridinium chloride is an antiseptic that suppresses the growth and reproduction of microorganisms that cause infectious diseases in the mouth and throat.
In addition to the antimicrobial effect, the resorption tablets relieve inflammation, soften the unpleasant sensations in the throat, facilitate swallowing, increase salivation, which contributes to the natural cleansing of the oropharynx.
Due to the fact that active compounds have a local effect and are hardly absorbed into the digestive tract - systemic effects are not observed. There is no data on pharmacokinetics.

Indications for use

The drug is effective for such infectious and inflammatory diseases in the oral cavity and throat as:
    angina;
    pharyngitis;
    parodontosis;
    tonsillitis;
    gingivitis;
    stomatitis.

Contraindications

    Patients with hypersensitivity reactions to any of the pill components;
    Pregnant women in the first trimester and mothers breastfeeding;
    children under 4 years.

Dosage and duration of treatment
Daily doses differ depending on the age of the patient:
    adults and adolescents from 12 years: 3-4 tablets, one for the day;
    children 4-12 years: 1-2 tablets during the day.

Overdose
