Pharmacodynamics

Combined drug for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the throat and oral cavity.
The preparation includes antimicrobial agent gramicidin C and an antiseptic agent - cetylpyridinium chloride. The mechanism of action of gramicidin C is associated with an increase in the permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of the microbial cell, which violates its stability and causes death. Gramicidin C has antibacterial action against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Cetylpyridinium chloride refers to antiseptic agents, suppresses the growth and reproduction of infectious agents of the oral cavity and throat. The drug has an antimicrobial effect, reduces inflammation, softens discomfort in the throat, facilitates swallowing.

Pharmacokinetics

Grammidin spray is topical. According to the data of preclinical studies of pharmacokinetics, there is practically no absorption.

Indications

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat: pharyngitis, tonsillitis, periodontitis, gingivitis, stomatitis.

Contraindications for Grammidin spray

    Hypersensitivity to gramicidin C, cetylpyridinium chloride and other components of Grammidin spray;
    pregnancy (I trimester);
    lactation period;
    children's age till 18 years.

Before using Grammidin spray, if you are pregnant or think that you might be pregnant, or plan a pregnancy, you should consult a doctor. Dosing and Administration

Locally, by spraying on the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat. It is used after eating.
Dosage for adults: 4 injections per application 3 times a day for 7 days. Immediately after using Grammidin spray should refrain from eating food and drink for 1 hour.
If there is no improvement after treatment, or the symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Use Grammidin spray only according to the indications, the method of administration and the doses indicated in the instructions.

Side effects
