The gel for external use is colorless or slightly opalescent, transparent, homogeneous.

Excipients: dexpanthenol, allantoin powder, sodium methylparahydroxybenzoate, sodium hydroxide, carbopol 934P (carboxypolymethylparagene), simethicone emulsion, propylene glycol, purified water.

pharmachologic effect

Combination drug for external use, contains venotonic and direct anticoagulant.
Eszin is contained in the seeds of horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum L., semen), is a mixture of triterpene saponins. Eszin has an anti-inflammatory effect mainly in the initial phase of the inflammatory reaction, sealing the walls of the capillaries and thus reducing their permeability, increased with inflammation. Eszin also has a positive effect on the fragility of the walls of the capillaries and increases the tone of the venous walls when it is weakened. All this leads to a reduction in stagnation in the venous bed and accumulation of fluid in the tissues, preventing the appearance of edema.
Heparin prevents blood clotting, which reduces thrombosis in the vessels, and also has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Dexpanthenol and allantoin improve the absorption of active substances through the skin and, thus, enhance their therapeutic effect.

Indications

- venous insufficiency (pain and heaviness in the legs, night cramps in the calf muscles, skin itching, swelling of the legs);
- phlebeurysm;
- trauma (bruises, swelling of soft tissues, posttraumatic hematomas, sprain);
- Thrombophlebitis of superficial veins.

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Dosage

The drug is used externally.
A thin layer of Venitane forte should be applied to the skin of the affected areas and around them and gently rubbed. The gel should be applied 1-3 times / day. The necessary amount of gel, corresponding to a single dose, should not be applied immediately, but gradually, in small portions.
With inflammatory diseases the veins do not rub the gel.
With trophic ulcers of the lower leg, gel should be applied to the edge of the ulcer, where blood circulation is disturbed; care should be taken so that the gel does not get directly to the surface of the ulcer.
With varicose veins of the lower extremities, it is also recommended to use an elastic bandage or wear special tightening tights.

Side effects

Allergic reactions: in some cases - urticaria, skin rash, skin itching.

Venitane forte should not be applied to affected areas of the skin at the same time as other medicinal products for external use.

Do not apply the drug to bleeding ulcers of the shin, to the damaged or inflamed skin, to the mucous membranes, and also in the presence of purulent processes.
