Composition

1 gram of the cream contains clotrimazole (10.0 mg), gentamicin sulfate (1.0 mg), beclomethasone dipropionate (0.25 mg).
Additional components: sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, methylparaben, benzyl alcohol, petrolatum, propylene glycol, sodium hydrogenphosphate, propylparaben, water, liquid paraffin, cetomacrogol.

Form of issue

Homogeneous cream of white color without a characteristic smell is packed in tubes of aluminum.

pharmachologic effect of Candiderm

Antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antimicrobial agent of combined composition.
The component Beclomethasone possesses antipruritic, antiexudative, antiallergic and anti-sucking effects. The principle of action is based on inhibition of the accumulation of blood cells of leukocytes, inhibition of the phagocytosis process, the release of lysosomal specific enzymes and inflammatory mediators, an obstacle to the formation of puffiness, a decrease in vascular-tissue permeability.
The gentamicin component is an antibiotic. It belongs to the aminoglycoside group and has a pronounced bactericidal effect. It inhibits the activity of proteas, klebsiella, enterobacteria, pseudomonads, escherichia, streptococci and staphylococci.
The component clotrimazole has an antifungal effect. The mechanism of anti-fungicidal action is based on the obstacle to the synthesis of ergosterol - an integral part of the fungal cell.

Candiderm can not be used in ophthalmic practice. The cream should not be applied to the skin near the eyes. Occlusive bandages increase the effectiveness of the drug.
