Instruction for Belogent

Composition

One gram of the cream Belogent for external use contains 0.64 mg of betamethasone dipropionate and 1 mg of gentamicin sulfate.
Excipients: sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, chlorocresol, phosphoric acid, macrogol cetostearate, soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, sodium hydroxide, liquid paraffin, water.
One gram of ointment. Belogent for external use also contains 0.64 mg of betamethasone dipropionate and 1 mg of gentamicin sulfate.
Excipients: soft paraffin, liquid paraffin.

Form of issue

    Ointment Belogent is usually translucent, white and homogeneous. Available in tubes of 15, 30, 20 or 40 grams.
    Cream Belogent is always white, without mechanical inclusions. Available in tubes of 15, 30, 20 or 40 grams.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Betamethasone has an anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative and antipruritic effect. When exposed to the skin, betamethasone exerts a pronounced and rapid action in the inflammatory area, reducing the strength of both objective symptoms (edema, erythema, lichenification) and subjective sensations (irritation, itching, pain).
Gentamicin has a bactericidal effect against the vast majority of microorganisms, including strains Streptococcus spp., Proteus spp., Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and others.
