Composition

The mass part of the main active component of the preparation of zinc hyaluronate is indicated by 1 gram of gel - 1,027 mg / g.
If the drug is supplied as a solution, the dosage of the active ingredient is slightly higher and is 2.05 mg / ml.
The gel composition is supplemented with the following excipients, so that the pharmaceutical effect on the skin is more effective and lasting:
    zinc chloride - 5 mg;
    potassium sorbate - 15 mg;
    sodium hydroxide - 30 mg;
    carbomer - 150 mg;
    water for injection up to 15 g.
If we are talking about a solution of Curiosin, then in the role of additional components are:
    potassium sorbate - 15 mg;
    sorbitol;
    purified water for injection.

Form of issue

On pharmacy shelves, the pharmaceutical preparation Curiosin can be presented in two variations:
    Gel for external use with concentration of active ingredient 0.103%. Placed liniment in an aluminum tube with a white tip (PE), equipped with a perforating tip. The hole is additionally protected by a thin membrane. Supplied in a cardboard box.
    A solution, which is used for washing wound defects and deep impact on the skin.

Pharmacological action

In order to understand how the drug has therapeutic effects in the treatment of acne, one must first understand the pathogenetic factors of development of skin defects. First of all, the etiological component of the development of acne is hyperplasia of the sebaceous gland on the background of the hyperkeratosis of the duct. Thus, the follicles develop a secret that is not capable of excreting into the external environment, which manifests itself in the form of swelling and local inflammation of the gland. Propionibacterium acnes microorganisms are also of great importance. They produce biologically active substances, which have an adverse effect on the ducts of the producing elements and the surrounding structures.
As a result of the above pathophysiological changes, the concentration of hyaluronic acid in the surrounding veins of the gland is significantly reduced. This is a natural polymer, mucopolysaccharide in its chemical structure, which is an important structural element of connective tissue. Thanks to the chemical-physical interaction, the acid forms a dispersive matrix, which maintains the tone and elasticity of the surface and deep covers of the skin. Also, the hyaluronic polymer interacts with proteoglycans, stabilizing the main intercellular substance of the connective tissue.
Zinc hyaluronate eliminates the deficit of this acid in the treated area of the skin. This facilitates the reproduction of a natural (similar to the natural by chemical constituents) supporting base for cells. Thus, the acid replaces the tissue defect, forming a basis for further development. Also, hyaluronate increases the activity of granulocytes and macrophages, that is, it stimulates natural remedies against invasion of microorganisms (antiseptic action of the drug). Zinc ions, in turn, have an antibacterial effect, specifically directed at Propionibacterium acnes. In response to the elimination of harmful microflora, the intensity of the inflammatory process decreases, which has a favorable effect on the treatment of acne.
It should not be forgotten that hyaluronic acid enhances the proliferative stage of fibroblast development. That is, it activates the main link in the synthesis of the new connective tissue, followed by the development of angiogenesis, providing the newly reproduced skin areas with an active influx of arterial blood and useful nutrients, including an additional portion of reactive oxygen species. Thus, the regenerating effect of Curiosin is realized.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Unfortunately, the pharmacokinetic properties of exogenous hyaluronic acid are not known enough, because its path in connective tissue is difficult to trace. It is also not possible to differentiate the external intake from the structural elements of the connective tissue synthesized in response to the lesion.
Plasma concentration of hyaluronic acid in healthy people is in the range of 10-100 μg / l, depending on the activity of the reparative processes of the body. An increased level of the biologically active component is observed in the morning hours, but the acid is quickly removed from the bloodstream. Splitting it into constituents with a lower molecular mass occurs in the liver.
The half-life is 2.5-5.5 minutes. Interesting is the fact that hyaluronates are practically not excreted in the urine (only 1% of the active component is detected). Its renal clearance is 320 mcg per day.

Indications for use

Since the pharmaceutical preparation is available in several forms, the indications for use differ slightly, since the pharmacokinetic abilities largely depend on the way the drug is used, its bioavailability and the possibility of complete adsorption from the veils.
For example, the gel (ointment) Curiosin is more effective for treating acne (acne) of varying severity, because in such a pharmaceutical form the drug interacts better with the surface elements of the skin. Such therapy is primarily aimed at the rapid elimination of inflammatory manifestations of acne or papular-pustular rash. In a relatively short period of time, swelling, swelling, redness of surrounding tissues disappears. The temperature regime of the treated surface is also normalized.
The Curiosin solution, on the other hand, has pharmaceutical effects at deeper levels of organization (able to penetrate the basal layers of the skin more actively than the gel or ointment), and accordingly its efficiency is higher in the treatment of trophic ulcers. The solution is also used for slow healing of wounds, bedsores and fistulas, since it stimulates the inflow of nutrients to the skin from the inside. A positive therapeutic effect is also noted during the sanation of infected defects, because in this way the immune system of the body is more efficiently stimulated, which facilitates the rapid disposal of harmful microorganisms due to macrophages and granulocytes.
The application of Curiosin gel for wrinkles is not an absolute indication from a medical point of view, however, cosmetologists actively recommend using a pharmaceutical preparation for the purpose of smoothing the skin. The effect of the drug really helps to rejuvenate the face, improve the blood supply of the microcirculatory bed and more active nutrition of the dermis and epidermis, which has a positive effect on the appearance of the skin. Reviews of Curiosin from wrinkles in particularly complex areas of the facial skin are confirmed by favorable pharmaceutical effects. After a relatively short course of treatment, the indices of elasticity increase, and the face looks healthier and more fresh. How to use the gel to get rid of unpleasant folds can be found in the corresponding section (see Method of application).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, idiosyncrasy or intolerance of one or more constituents of a pharmaceutical preparation.

Side effects

    Hyperemia of the skin (increased blood flow, which stains the covers, characteristic reddening of the surface layers of the epithelium due to the nearby vascular bed);
    Unpleasant burning sensation;
    Feeling of tension and dryness of the skin;
    Stretching of the treated area;
    Allergic reactions (skin itching, hives, angioedema, edema of adjacent tissues and so on).

Instruction for Curiosin (Method and Dosage)

The method of using the pharmaceutical preparation, as well as the indications for use, differ somewhat depending on the form of release of the drug. So before applying the solution, it is necessary to treat the wound abundantly with an isotonic solution of sodium chloride or 3% hydrogen peroxide. This will allow Curiosin to have a more complete effect. The solution is applied directly to the wound 1 or 2 times a day according to individual indications. If the skin defect is localized on the bend and just washed it is not convenient, you can impregnate the solution with a cotton or gauze napkin and only then apply it to the wound.

Gel Curiosin, instructions for use:

Preliminary treatment of the skin by mechanical means is provided (thorough washing with the help of warm water). Further, the ointment is applied in abundant amounts to the affected area of the skin. Repeat the procedure twice a day. It is recommended to carry out treatment in the morning and lunch hours, when peak activity of hyaluronic acid metabolism is observed.

Overdose

Cases of overdose in clinical practice are not described.

Interaction

Adverse interaction with drugs of other groups during the complex therapy is not registered, but before using several drugs together it is recommended to consult a doctor or a qualified pharmacist about the possibility of their simultaneous use.

Terms of sale

It is released in pharmacy kiosks without presenting a prescription form.

Storage conditions

The drug, regardless of the form of release, should be stored in a dry place inaccessible to young children at a constant temperature regime from 17 to 30 degrees Celsius. When opening the vial of a solution it is necessary to use it for a month, otherwise the pharmaceutical properties of the active components will come to naught.
Shelf life - 2 years.

special instructions

A positive feature of the drug is that the gel leaves no residue on clothes and does not stain the skin (does not cause both temporary and permanent pigmentation of the skin).

Analogues of Curiosin

Curiosin - to a certain extent a unique pharmaceutical product. Its therapeutic effect is aimed at the activation of the reparative processes of the body, in particular the elimination of skin defects, but this does not limit the entire wide range of the drug. The use of the gel for cosmetic purposes really gives positive results, because the drug is actively used for conservative facial rejuvenation, giving the skin a healthy color and the necessary elasticity. This is the philosophical stone that has long been sought by the majority of alchemists, selflessly dreaming about the extension of youth.

In pregnancy and lactation

Clinical studies that would prove the safety of the use of a gel or Curiosin solution have not been carried out, therefore, use of the drug during lactation or pregnancy should only be performed by absolute indications of a qualified specialist and supervised by medical personnel so that in the event of undesirable effects of the treatment, assistance is provided in a timely manner.

Reviews about Curiosin

Reviews about Curiosin for the face are full of grateful recommendations. The drug allows you to eliminate infectious infection, get rid of unpleasant, sometimes even disfiguring defects with a minimal spectrum of side effects.
Manifestations of undesirable consequences of treatment are extremely rare, only with hereditary hypersensitivity to the constituent components of the drug (in this case, experienced specialists recommend carrying out an allergic test before starting conservative treatment), so the solution, like the liniment, leaves only pleasant impressions after the passed treatment, even in the case clinically severe pathology (for example, the drug can cope with the forces of deep trophic ulcers infected with harmful microflora).
Reviews of Curiosin gel from wrinkles confirm the positive cosmetic effect of using a pharmaceutical preparation. In a short period of complex therapy, the ointment allows you to get rid of skin folds even in the most difficult places, such as the lateral edges of the eye sockets, the lateral forehead surfaces and the corners of the mouth. Also, women happy with the drug in their recommendations add that the complexion becomes healthier and the cheeks ruddy, due to active stimulation of the blood circulation of the veil.
As a gel from acne, the drug satisfies the youthful age segment. Getting rid of acne with a conservative way is a relatively difficult task, as microorganisms are constantly developing and resistance to traditional medicines is a serious problem of drug therapy in dermatology. Kuriyozin also allows you to eliminate acne for a short course of treatment. Separately it is worth noting that the skin becomes more elastic, due to what to look after the face in the future is much easier.
