When hyaluronic acid interacts with water molecules, a dispersion matrix arises, replenishing the missing cellular tissue. It forms a natural supporting framework for cells involved in wound healing, increases the activity of granulocytes and macrophages, increases fibroblast proliferation and angiogenesis. Compared with sodium hyaluronate, zinc hyaluronate has a bacteriostatic effect against many bacteria.

Pharmacokinetics

When applied topically, it is practically not absorbed, a small amount of Curiosin solution is determined in the plasma.

Indications for use

As part of complex therapy for the local treatment of poorly healing, infected wounds, leg ulcers, pressure sores, fistulas, as well as to accelerate the normal healing of wounds.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of Curiosin solution, pregnancy, lactation.

Pregnancy and lactation period

There is no data on the use of Curiosin solution during pregnancy or during lactation.

Dosing and Administration

Outwardly. Apply the solution once a day, on the damaged skin in the maximum dose of 1 drop / cm2. After pre-washing the surface of the wound with saline or, if necessary, 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, apply a few drops of Curiosin solution to a gauze cloth in an amount necessary to evenly moisten the entire wound surface in a maximum dose of 1 drop / cm2.
Cover the wound with a sterile gauze cloth or bandage that does not stick to the wound surface. The solution can be applied 2 times a day to very moist wounds. The duration of therapy is individual and depends on the form and severity of the disease.

Side effects of Curiosin solution

At the beginning of treatment, there may be a slight burning sensation, which gradually disappears.
Very rarely, on adjacent skin areas, allergic reactions may occur (irritation and contact dermatitis).
