Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

The topical drug of the gel is intended for the treatment of acne. The active substance of the drug is a retinoid derivative - Adapalene, which exhibits anti-inflammatory and comedonolytic activity. Adapalen takes part in the normalization of the processes of epidermal differentiation and keratinization, inhibits the formation of micro-medones and reduces the manifestations of the inflammatory process.
The mechanism of action of the active substance of the drug Klenzit lies in its ability to influence the specific gamma receptors of epidermal cells of the skin, reducing their adhesion surface in the mouths of the sebaceous-hair follicles.
In vivo and in vitro studies have shown that Adapalene has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect, due to its influence on the factors of the inflammatory process. Inhibits the metabolism of arachidonic acid and migration of leukocytes.
When the gel is applied externally, the systemic absorption of its active substance Adapalene is rather low, about 4% of the used dose.
From the systemic blood flow, excreted by the liver.

Reviews about Klenzit

Looking at the various pages of websites devoted to the problem of facial skin and in particular acne (acne), it can be noted that considering local medicines to help get rid of acne, reviews about Klenzit are mostly positive. Of course, if you want to overcome this problem at a time, then this drug is not for you. The treatment process is rather long (a persistent effect occurs after 3 months of use) and requires additional facial skin care, as after the application of the drug, dry skin often arises, which must be moistened. Gel Klenzit is very economical and therapy with its use allows the parallel use, after some interruption, of other dermatological agents. It is worth noting that Klenzit is not suitable for everyone, so before you start treating acne, consult a dermatologist who, in case of any contraindications, can assign the appropriate analogue.
The difference between Klenzit and Klenzit C
The main difference between these drugs is that the Klenzit C gel contains, in addition to Adapaline, a retinoid metabolite, a bacteriostatic antibiotic, Clindamycin, which is active against purulent inflammations caused by certain Gram-positive cocci.
In the treatment of acne, with the positive reaction of the body to Adapalen and Clindamycin, it is best not to choose between Klenzit or Klenzit C, but to apply them in general treatment. First, use Klenzit C for about 2 weeks, then switch to the application of Klenzit.
