Pharmacodynamics

Loceryl is an antifungal external preparation. The medicine demonstrates a fungicidal and fungistatic effect, which is caused by the destruction of the cytoplasmic membrane of the fungal cell by blocking the synthesis of sterols. Reduced concentration of ergosterol, accumulate atypical non-planar sterols. Has a large spectrum of action.
Oppresses both common and rare species of fungi - causative agents of nail lesions:
    yeast fungi of the genera Malassezia (Pityrosporum), Candida, Cryptococcus;
    dermatophytes of the genera Microsporum, Trichophyton, Epidermophyton;
    fungi of the genera Fonsecaea, Cladopsorium, Wangiella (family Dematiaceae);
    mold fungi of the genera Scopulariopsis, Alternaria, Hendersonula;
    dimorphic fungi of the genera Coccidioides, Histoplasma, Sporothrix.

Pharmacokinetics

After application on the nail plate penetrates into it and into the nail bed. The therapeutic concentration persists for 10 days even after the first application.
Absorption in the systemic circulation is insignificant.
