This combination is for external use only. The therapeutic effect is due to its components. Betamethasone is characterized by inhibition of the release of inflammatory mediators. Reviews of Rederm
Drugs of this kind are very popular in society. Therefore, reviews about Rederm in psoriasis are quite common and many of them are positive. Although there are patients who were dissatisfied with the treatment.
Often due to the use of this drug there are persistent remissions with exacerbation. Treatment helps to eliminate peeling, itching and redness. This effect is noted by many patients, informing that the cream of Rederm is an excellent remedy after application of which flakes, redness and itching quickly disappear, and this effect persists for a long time. In addition, the ointment is easy, simple and convenient to use, as it is easily applied to the skin and absorbed quickly.
However, one can also find negative reviews in which patients discuss the properties characteristic of hormonal drugs. As a rule, most hormonal agents are effective only at the initial stage of treatment, and then their effect is somewhat reduced. According to some patients, this only aggravates the therapeutic process and the course of the disease.
Also, some patients report that their skin has become cyanotic and wrinkled and has lost hair, although at first the treatment proceeded quite well. In general, many patients agree with the opinion that hormones are harmful to the body, therefore it is better to refuse all hormones.
According to experts in the field of dermatology, the use of hormonal ointments can be resorted to when the use of conventional techniques was not effective. In any case, treatment with hormonal drugs should be done only under the supervision of a doctor, with strict adherence to dosage and duration of use.
