Form of formulation and composition of the preparation

The drug Belosalic is available in the form of an ointment for external use in aluminum tubes of 20, 30 and 40 g in a cardboard bundle with the accompanying instruction.
The preparation is a homogeneous substance of white translucent color, without any impurities or inclusions.
The main active ingredient of the drug is betamethasone dipropionate, as well as salicylic acid.
Vaseline and mineral oil serve as auxiliary components.

Pharmacological properties of the drug

Ointment Belosalic is intended for external use only. The drug is a combined agent that combines anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects.
The main active substance of the drug - betamethasone belongs to the group of glucocorticosteroids and has an anti-inflammatory effect on the affected areas of the skin, relieves itching and swelling, reduces the amount of pathological exudate. The salicylic acid, which is part of the preparation, has a pronounced antiseptic effect, due to which growth and reproduction of pathogenic microflora is inhibited. In addition, salicylic acid helps soften the upper layer of the epidermis, due to which the maximum penetration of betamethasone into the affected surface is observed.

Indications for use

Ointment Belosalic can only be used as directed by a doctor. The drug is effective under the following conditions:
    Neurodermatitis in the acute stage;
    Urticaria accompanied by severe itching and swelling of the skin;
    Psoriasis;
    Eczema of acute and chronic course;
    Ichthyosis;
    Atopic dermatitis;
    Various inflammatory processes of the skin, caused by the action of endogenous or exogenous factors;
    Red flat or warty lichen;
