Powder Badyaga (Spongilla) is a locally irritating agent of natural origin. It is indicated for external use only, improves blood circulation in tissues in the application area, has an anti-inflammatory and mild analgesic effect.

Form of issue and composition

This preparation is a powder of a gray-green color. It is a dried and chopped freshwater sponge. Available in bags of 2.5, 5 and 10 g.

The Badyaga (Spongilla) powder consists of a dried and chopped freshwater sponge. It is a skeleton consisting of intertwined threads of a network of silica needles. These loops are connected by an organic substance with a spongin. With local (local) application, the skin becomes irritated with silica needles, due to which the blood reflex increases in the tissues, an anti-inflammatory and easy analgesic effect is realized. Also, this effect contributes to the mechanical cleaning of the pores of the skin, the removal of dead cells of the surface layer (the stratum corneum of the epidermis), the cleansing of the skin from pigment spots, inflammatory elements. Powder Badyaga leads to an increase in the synthesis of a number of biologically active substances that have the ability to enhance the redox-oxidative processes in the skin, which is manifested by its rejuvenation, increased elasticity of connective tissue fibers, reducing the number and severity of wrinkles.
